2022 JERSEY COAST SHARK ANGLERS' POKER RUN

SATURDAY AUGUST 27th, 2022

PRIZE MONEY: Based on $100 per 46 hands entered:

1st Prize: $2,500

2nd Prize: $1,250

3rd Prize: $750

Worst Hand: $100

·  Only legitimate poker hands will be acceptable.

·  The worst hand possible is Ace, 2,3,4,6.

·  Any ties will be broken by the cutting of a deck of cards with the highest card winning the hand.

·  Cost of entry is $100 per hand.

·  Six tickets will be allowed per boat for the barbeque. If additional BBQ tickets are required, they will cost $10 each.

Attendance at Captain's Meeting is MANDATORY!

JCSA 2022 Rules for Poker Run

1.  $100.00 per hand.

2.  Each hand will consist of 7 cards. You will collect the first card at the Captains’ meeting on Friday Night at the club. The next five cards will be collected during the Poker Run. All participants must collect their cards from a vessel.  The last card will be collected back at the club. The best five cards will be presented at the end of the tournament.

3.  You will receive each card in an envelope. Once you take possession of the envelope, open it and show the card to the committee member so it can be recorded.

4.  There will be 4 winners which will be the three best hands and the worst hand will all win prize money. The amount of the prize money will be determined by the number of hands entered. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by cutting a deck of cards. High card wins.

5.  The Captains Meeting will be Friday August 26, 2022 at 6:00 pm. The tournament will be Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm with Sunday, August 28 2022 to be the rain date.  We will meet back at the club at 3:00 pm.

6.  Should inclement weather persist for both dates, a drawing will be held at the club Sunday, August 28,2022 at 3:00 pm.

7.  All vessels must have nets to pass the cards safely.
